In this atelier, Sofia and Çiğdem will introduce you to beautiful songs from Türkiye and Greece that talk about love, the joy of life, the pain of migration... and also correspond to a dance!
Join us to explore music that singers respond to immediately and that lies comfortably in the voice. Through composers like Michael McGlynn, David Mooney, Rhona Clarke, and Desmond Early, singers and conductors can access lesser-known repertoire inspired by the richness of the Irish folk tradition, take it back to their homes, and perform it with confidence!

Explore the connection between voice, body, and performance! Integrating music with movement, performance awareness, and collective expression, Federico Trindade draws on the rhythmic vitality and expressive richness of Brazilian and Latin American musical practices.
Discover the richness and diversity of Cameroonian choral music through energetic rhythms and expressive body movements. Some of Cameroon's 200 spoken languages will be used to show various authentic colors of the country's choral traditions.

Come and experience Norwegian folk music! Håvard Gravdal and Elisabeth Anvik from the vocal group PUST have a special fondness for Norwegian folk songs, integrating them into their ensemble music in diverse ways. Håvard and Elisabeth's arrangements combine traditional and contemporary expressions of folk music. Håvard also specialises in kveding, the traditional folk singing style.

How does Gregorian chant influence 20th and 21st century music? Come and sing Gregorian melodies and works directly inspired by Gregorian chant, and explore the connections between ancient chant and contemporary music, including music by Pärt, Duruflé, Ødegaard, and Kaumann.

Join us to explore rest! From the nostalgia of untouchable love in Antognini’s Come to Me, we will move to the first part of Martin’s Songs of Ariel, reflecting the unrest of Shakespeare’s spirit. Afterwards, Burkhard’s piece is mankind’s plea for rest. In response, rest comes from Andriessen, calming a lover’s longing.
