Rock has always been more than music. It gives people a voice, inspires generations to stand up for freedom, and unites them in times of change. Today, it reminds us that freedom is something we must protect. Alongside a live band, we will bring rock energy to the choral stage through songs that symbolise hope, peace, and courage.
The programme features Scorpions, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson, and music from two legendary Latvian rock operas: Imants Kalniņš’s Ei, jūs tur!, and Zigmars Liepiņš’s iconic Lāčplēsis, which symbolised Latvia’s path to independence. Join us, and let your voice awaken the sound of freedom!
