In a time of social unrest and cultural revolution, some of history's most iconic and enduring songs hit the airwaves. Decades later, we still feel inspired, uplifted, and compelled to sing along!
Come with us back to the 1960s as we revisit some of the biggest hits from America and the British Invasion, reimagined for choir.
Kevin Fox (he/him), originally from Canada, is known internationally as a performer, choral director, workshop leader, and arranger, now based in the UK. He toured with the Grammy-winning group The Swingles for 12 years as a singer and vocal percussionist, and records with London Voices on various film soundtracks. Kevin served as artistic director of SING! Toronto (2022-2023), and musical director of the British TV show Sing: Ultimate A Cappella (Sky One, 2017).
He has taught at international institutions and festivals including the Guildhall (London), Europa Cantat (Estonia), Black Forest Voices (Germany), Vocalmente (Italy), and Vocal Asia (Japan), and is an adjudicator with Interkultur. These days he directs three lovely London-based community choirs, runs improvisation and rhythm workshops, and occasionally writes original choral music. A passionate musical leader, Fox loves to help singers gain confidence in their own creativity and unlock their music-making potential, with a focus on rhythm, interpretation, and improvisation.
