Weather in August

In August, when EUROPA CANTAT 2027 will take place, Liepāja typically enjoys pleasant summer weather. Daytime temperatures usually range between 20°C and 25°C (68–77°F). However, due to the city's location on the Baltic Sea coast, evenings can be cooler and breezier.

Participants are advised to bring:

  • a light windproof jacket or raincoat;
  • comfortable walking shoes;
  • sunscreen and a hat.
