Ingrid Mänd

Conductor

Ingrid Mänd (she/her, née Roose), from Estonia, is active as a choral and orchestral conductor. She has worked internationally with several renowned ensembles, including the Chœur de l'Orchestre de Paris, Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, Estonian National Male Choir, and many others. As a choirmaster, Mänd has collaborated with leading conductors including Esa-Pekka Salonen, Klaus Mäkelä, Alexander Bloch, and others.

Mänd is an international prize winner. In October 2019, she was awarded First Prize at the 9th International Competition for Young Conductors in Paris, organized by the European Choral Association, and received a special prize from the Chœur de l'Orchestre de Paris. In the same year, she was named Young Conductor of the Year by the Estonian Choral Association.

Mänd has been in the artistic team of the Estonian Song Festival since 2017. From January 2022 to May 2023, she served as choirmaster of the Chœur de l'Orchestre de Paris.
